We are a working ranch nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The Kramer Ranch has been in the same family since 1925. We raise cattle, sheep, goats, and Border Collies.
We take pride in raising and selling outstanding quality Border Collies from champion imported bloodlines that excel in every venue. Our sires and dams are working stock dogs on our ranch. They have outstanding pedigrees, excellent temperaments, and are hard-working ranch dogs as well as sweet companions.
They are focused on doing a good job and are very attentive and eager to please. They have the drive (medium to high) and bidability needed for a working dog, as well as the boldness to face new situations and strangers without fear.
All are ABCA registered and have international champions on both sides of their pedigrees, including European nursery champions, international driving and herding champions, Welsh national champions, and world champions. One only needs to look at the pedigrees to see the quality of the dogs we raise on the ranch.
Some of the bloodlines in our program come from Aled Owen’s dogs, Llangwm Bud and Llangwm Cap. Our dogs also carry bloodlines from Broken Circle Ranch and Mission Falls Ranch.
We are excited to welcome our newest sire, Llangwm Cutter, who we imported from Wales from Aled Owen. His sire is Llangwm Bud and his grand sire is Llangwm Cap — both European champions well known for their herding abilities. His dam, Llangwm Queen, brings a pedigree with six supreme champions and one world champion. His bloodline is packed with stellar working dogs for ranches and trial competitions.
We are passionate about raising healthy, quality Border Collies for any ranch or home. They are bred to work livestock, serve as therapy and service dogs, excel in agility, and be great companions for active homes.
We believe individual love, attention, and socialization create exceptional dogs. Our puppies are ranch-raised and well socialized, exposed daily to ranch life and family activity. Puppies have been placed in homes across the country.
We raise Border Collies of all colors — beautiful merles, black & whites, and red & whites. They are de-wormed and vaccinated on schedule.
